Breaking news! Finished will NOT be released until the Fall. I was recently informed of this delay. I have to say it is a bit of a blessing as now I can ramp up Unfinished, polish Finished and readers will be looking for Finished. The sun is shining in Lethbridge, Alberta today. It snowed over night...finally winter has arrived in Canada. Resting up for the long drive ahead of me. Taking some time off to spend with some friends now that Finished is in the editing stages....I can relax...but just for a minute.

On the road again! Back on the Mainland finally internet!! Heading East very soon but not as far as Nova Scotia, not ready yet. Lots to do in Toronto!...Whiterock, Okanagan then hitting the Crowsnest Pass, Grand Forks, Calgary, Red Deer Edmonton? Lethbridge for sure. On Tour with Suzanne don'tcha Know! It is so beautiful on Vancouver Island even in January...it rains and rains, that is why it is so lush and the trees are gigantic!...But... I do not have to shovel it. Even the snow that does blow in only stays until it rains again...good thing I do not allow the weather to dictate what I do or where I go!

I have finished writing Finished and it is in the editing process to be ready for release on March 15th...it is already available for pre-order from Amazon.com.

I have to say I am happy to see 2011 behind me. It was a grueling year of self imposed exiles and self analysis. I am looking forward to getting on the road again touring with Unfinished after finishing writing...Finished. Thank you all for supporting me in every way last year. I have learned so much from all the people I have had the privilege of staying with, new people I have met and the fantastic team I get to work with in my writing world.
I spent another incredible time up in the Chilcotin Mountains,snowmobiling our way in to the peace and tranquility that being that far up and away from all communication devices can provide. I am back in Vancouver to finish my second book and even the rain cannot dampen my excitement with all the fantastic changes that are happening for so many people including me! Your e-mails continue to keep me humble...keep writing to me.

I made it through the Rocky Mountains but not without mother nature challenging me at ever hair pin corner! Snow, icy roads, wild life and no cell reception!
I will be in Vancouver or parts surrounding for a while to rest and complete...Finished...

Arrived in Alberta/Book signing and speaking

I have arrived in Lethbridge, Alberta after a harrowing winter drive through the Prairie Provinces challenged my driving skills...But I made it!
I am going to be at the Sandman Inn Wednesday the 14th and Thursday the 15th of December speaking about my journey and the reason I decided to take it. I will donate a portion of all book sales to the local YWCA Women's Shelter, Harbour House. If you know people in this area, give them a call, tell them to come and introduce themselves.

Left Sandi and Colin and the 5 critters crying at the door in Bowmanville, the critters not Sandi and Colin,quick stop to see Ros in Brampton, then drove directly into my first storm of the season...an ice storm just North of Parry Sound. slowed me down for a few hours...Heading for Wawa...I love that name!
Better weather ahead...Looking forward to Lethbridge on the weekend.

It is with great trepidation I pack up my truck today and head West. I have become so comfortable with Sandi, Colin and their 5 critters. I am both excited and scared so it must be worth doing. After travelling through out Canada, almost 50 thousand kilometers in 13 months, I am looking forward to getting on the road to start the Tour for my first Book...UNFINISHED. The journey has taken me from the brink of the canyon both mentally and physcially.

The time is drawing near, I can feel it in my bones, it is getting time to get on the road again.
Staying with Sandi and Colin in Bowmanville for the past few weeks, has allowed me to get comfortable with being away from family and friends in Nova Scotia again. It has allowed me the time required to actually see if I want to head West. And...yes I do. This next journey is going to be so different.
Different because I have answered many questions I had that were confusing to me and now I do not have to think about them anymore! I have found some joy again. And this next journey is going to blow the socks off any adventure I have ever had!

Having my book "Unfinished" available now and writing "Finished" has changed my life. Who knew?

Now the book launch for Unfinshed on September 26th downtown Toronto is done and I have had a few resting, relaxing and contemplative few weeks in Bowman, Ontario, getting my self engrossed in writing "Finished"... it is time to think about heading West to Vancouver again. It will be a slow journey as I will be stopping everywhere I can, promoting Unfinished, talking with everyone I meet about a personal journey that changed their lives. I can not even begin to tell you how many people want to get in the seat beside me and just drive until... "they can breath again."

My publicist sent out a press release for Unfinished, today, all across Canada and USA and I am looking forward to the responses.

Back home in Nova Scotia for a few weeks to repack, regroup, visit with my children and grandchildren.
Looking forward to the next phase of my life...the next year!
I will be touring with Unfinished over the next while and writing my second book "Finished" while on the road again. Looking for co-pilots and navigators to meet up with me anywhere you can.
